APPOINTMENT OF AEC REPRESENTATIVE FOR JTF-3

At Meeting 345 on December 21, 1949, the Commission
considered AEC 153/5.
The Commission:
a. Agrecd that, at a time mutually agreeable to the AEC
and the Department of Defense, the Commission would
designate the Commander, JTF-3 (General Quesada), as its
over-all representative; and
b. Noted that, pending ultimate designation of General
@uesada,AEC interests in the 195] test will continue to be
handled under currently delegated authority by the Director
of Military Application and the Manager, Canta Fe Operations.
