Under consideration was amemorandum onthis ‘subject fromthe _
Secretary of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, dated October 18, 1947, anda
draft reply. (AEC Doc. 47-146). Certain revisions as to security and
responsibility for cost allocations were proposed by the Acting Gen-
eral Counsel, and after further discussion, the Commission:
a. INSTRUCTED the Director of Military Application and the
Acting General Counsel to revise the draft reply in accordance
with these suggestions.
