GENERAL:
a. To facilitate operaticns in radiologically contaminated
areas, well trained radiclogical safety monitors are required as key
personnel for the purpose of:

a. General: The monitoring process involves locating the

uation and interpretation of survey data will be performed by unit
Radsafe Officers assisted by the Task Group Radsafe Officer. The 10
milliroentgen per hour (nr/hr) isodose line (line ebout an area or
object representing 10 ar/hr intensity) is used to delineate ths contamination area. Such hazardous areas or objects are to be marked with
standard markers or placed under guard.
b. Procedure: To obtain best results on a radiological survey, monitors vill follo: the following procedure:
