Costs incurred by JTF -8 are to be billed to the AEC's Nevada Operations Office and costed to the DOD reimbursable portion of Purchase Order No. NV 69-29. c. 6. Department of Interior funds of $700, 000 will be authorized in FY-1970 to the AEC/NVOO by the DOD thru DMA. A NV purchase order will be issued to JTF-8 in FY-1970 upon receipt of these funds. Costs incurred by JTF-8 will be billed to the AEC's Nevada Operations Office and costed to the subject Purchase Order. Continuing Safety Programs. The above provisions do not apply to the funding or execution of any long-range AEC program of radiological monitoring or bioenvironmental studies which might be required after certification of clean-up, and which would be carried out outside the provisions of the subject AEC-DOD agreement for clean-up of the atoll. eI The NVOO Test Manager is requested to advise the Manager, NVOO, of any NVOO requirements for such a continuing program.
