SALTWATER PUMP STATION AND WELL ~ Bldg. - 28-130 thru FS-193 - 11/16/50
Thie is a one story, double roofed, prefabricated aluminum building, erected on a
25%~2" n 33'-10 1/2" concrete slab which includes four pump foundations, a pipe
tranch with drain facilities, nine pipe supports, and a salt water well 21,'-6"
deep. The well consists of a 9' x 10' x 10' reinforced concrete seepage box
buried below an 8' section of '-6* I1.D. reinforced concrete pipe, a reinforced
concrete box |,'-6" x l'-6" x 6'-6" rises above the pipe and becomes an integral
part of the footing and slab. The building is complete with electrical wiring,
fixtures, and equipmant for automatic control, and suctionand discharge piping
systema with connections to salt water system. Three 300 G.P.M. pumps - motor
driven, and one 300 G.P.M. pump - gas engine driven are installed in this building.
The sise I.D. is 24'-0" x 32'-8 1/2" x 10-0" mean height with a cubic content
of 7,850 cubic feet and a floor area of 852 aquare feet.
