CONSTRUCTION This 15 x 75 x 10-ft. high building which will be converted to a payload preparation facility has been used as a maintenance shop Since its completion in 1965. It is located south of the trailer park within a non-secure, chain link fenced area of 1/4 acre. The plywood-sided, wood-framed structure with a reinforced concrete floor slab is partitioned into three rooms: a 10x 15-ft. tool room, a 15 x 40-ft. shop area, and a 15 x 25-ft. office. Wooden trusses and purlins support the corrugated aluminum roofing. bear on timber columns tied into the wall framing. Thetrusses Air conditioning is restricted to the office which is served by a wall mounted unit. The walls and ceiling of the office are lined with gypsum board and are insulated. Roof mounted gravity ventilators and shutters in the walls of the tool room and shop area provide ventilation. *Costs applicable to modifications only.
