CONSTRUCTION The U. S. Army Strategic Communications Command will
locate a Provisional Army Signal Unit (PASU) communications center on this
island for the purpose of furnishing communication facilities and services to
all scientific and support personnel.
A Suitable site for this mobile unit will be selected after an island reconnaissance
has been made by responsible PASU team personnel. The PASU, Team D-2,
will install, maintain and operate the communication center at this location.
Logistics support,including rations, must be provided to the nine enlisted men
who will be assigned to this facility.
