RECOMMENDATIONS
SUMMARY OF BASIC RECOMMENDATIONS:
The following is a summary of the recommendations made in the preceding
sections of this Report and are repeated here to provide a concise review of
the major recommendations resulting from a detailed study of the problems involved in the design, construction and operation of a Proving Ground for testing atomic weaponse

That the engineering design be accomplished in the Zone of the Inte-

rior to facilitate liaison with the Laboratory at Los Alamos and

That Parry Island be developed for construction camp and later be
